The Danish Museum of Science and Technology

This interactive museum is a paradise for curious children and adults. Here are family experiences at full power! You learn all about science, engineering and industry.

Do you have a child who dreams of being a pilot, or maybe just to sit behind the wheels of one of the first cars ever build? At the Museum of Science and Technology, it will all be possible. The museum has an impressive collection of steam engines, inventions, electric appliances, bicycles, cars and aeroplanes. A total of 8000 square meters exhibit in a former iron foundry from the nineteen sixties. Also, visit the pewter workshop and hear how Hans Christian Ørsted in 1820 discovered electromagnetism.  

Opening hours in the summer-, autumn-, Christmas- and winter holidays:
Monday - Sunday 10 am – 5 pm

The museum is open the following holidays:
Boxing Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, General Prayer Day, Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Whit Monday

The museum is closed the following days:
24.12, 25.12, 31.12 and 01.01.
