The sculptor Rudolph Tegner (1873-1950) strove in his artistic production toward a new monumental style, and some of Tegner's sculptures were a provocation to his contemporaries both on account of their scale and content. He was undisputedly a groundbreaking figure as an opposition to the classicism of Thorvaldsen. Tegner raised his enormous Museum in the wild, uncultivated part of North Sealand called Russia, where it is possible to view his lifetime work.
In the park, you can see 14 sculptures.
You can buy a ticket for two museums: Rudolph Tegner's Museum & Statue Park and Munkeruphushere
