Visit the Ecological Society
Every year, thousands of Danish and foreign guests visit the eco-community Dyssekilde, or simply ØD as the village is called in everyday speech. You also can join a tour or explore for yourself - as long as you stay on the gravel roads. If you walk around on your own, you can advantageously download a brochure where it is noted where the public paths are located.
From March to October, there are guided tours every other Saturday for odd weeks at 11.15. Departure from the info wall at the car park. It costs DKK 50 and lasts approx. An hour and a half. Along the way, you will see the whole village and learn how the houses are built and heated, how the village started and has developed into the "ecovillage".
For groups of more than ten people, please contact us directly at email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also book a private tour at the time that suits you best. Read more at www.dyssekilde.dk
The Ecovillage also offers the opportunity to shop in the village's shop Taraxacum, where it is also possible to eat in the affiliated Torup Spisehus, which cooks from local organic ingredients.
