Copenhagen and other tours...

Copenhagen has an exciting history. It grew from a small, simple fishing village to the capital of Denmark and survived the fire, plague, invasion and almost everything in between. Today, Copenhagen is known as a cultural capital, a hub for design and experimentation, a place for foodies and a country of adventure. It is not possible to see everything Copenhagen has to offer in a single day - or two, but here is an inspiration for your trip.

Best of Copenhagen
Full-day trip to Copenhagen to visit some of the famous landmarks. Stop at Amalienborg, the royal residence, which consists of four identical Rococo palaces framed by a spacious octagonal square. The fairy tale castle Rosenborg is built in the Dutch Renaissance style. Today the castle is a museum and houses the Danish Crown Jewels and Crown Regalia. Then, head towards the harbour and board a canal boat to explore many of Copenhagen's landmarks from the sea; The Little Mermaid, the Opera Building, the Stock Exchange and Nyhavn. Allow guests one or two hours on their own to visit the world-famous Tivoli Gardens, take a stroll on Strøget, one of the world's longest pedestrian streets, or explore the old Latin Quarter.

Panoramic Copenhagen
This is an ideal introduction to the Danish capital, Copenhagen, if you want to offer a tour of the city's 850 years of history in a short timeframe with panoramic views. Make a quick stop at Amalienborg Castle and continue to the old harbour of Nyhavn. Nearby you can see "Kongens Nytorv" Kings Square, where the Royal Theater, embassies and many fashionable restaurants and shops are located. Drive past Danmarks Nationalbank and Christiansborg, which houses the Danish government. Next to the Glyptotek lies Copenhagen's beloved Tivoli, which you can see from the outside. Get a glimpse of the town hall, and the adventure castle Rosenborg and take a photo stop at the Little Mermaid statue before returning to North Sealand.

Visit our neighbours
When you visit North Sealand, it is also possible to include our closest neighbours in your itinerary. On the other side of Oresund lies Skåne, Sweden. Here you can, among other things, drive to the Kullaberget (187M) and enjoy the view from the lighthouse, visit the Sofiero castle, drink coffee and enjoy freshly baked cinnamon buns in one of Mölles many cosy cafes.
